Service Description

Come join us for an all day kids camp on July 16 where we will take a dive into the art of photography. This camp will be designed for kids 12+ and will require a very basic DSLR camera and one lens. Camera's may be available if discussed in advance. Our morning will include a theory portion with lessons including but not limited to: How to care for your camera safely, how to use your auto modes, composition, and common terminology. Before lunch we will start shooting outdoors on the acreage, keeping in mind our composition portion of our lesson. The kids will have the opportunity to photograph both landscapes and the horses before breaking for a pizza party lunch. Here, we will review our images and discuss what we have learned. After lunch we will head back outdoors where we will have another opportunity to photograph various areas on the property and stretch our legs. Before heading home, we will head indoors where each child will have the opportunity to have a portrait taken by me in the studio. During this time, the kids will learn the very basics of posing and will be asked to help me pose each individual as a group. This class will have a maximum of 6 seats and will have two adults supervising.
